The Kruger Brothers is one of my favorite bands. It is worth a trip to Merlefest to see them. To me, their hearts really come out when they play. I frequently take photos of them and it is common for Jens, the banjo player to see me and strike a nice pose and hold it until I give him a thumbs up that i got it. One of those moments happened this year when Jens was on stage for the Hillside Album Hour at Hillside stage. Photo follows.
